My daughter spotted it first. For this part of central New York, The Deli Downtown holds its own.

The vegetable sides were treated as part of the dish, not an afterthought. That tells you something about where the kitchen's head is.

The front of house staff managed the floor confidently. Nobody was waiting on water.

One thing I'd change: the parking situation is genuinely difficult on weekends. But that changes nothing about recommending the place.
