Subway

Three stars for a Subway in Plymouth Meeting because Subway is Subway. The consistent variables were consistent: bread at the correct texture, the toppings fresh enough for the format, the line moving at the pace that makes Subway useful. If those variables had failed, this would be a one-star visit. They didn't.

We were moving through on a longer drive and needed something predictable and fast. Subway was predictable and fast. The three stars are for meeting the contract. The contract is modest, but a broken contract at a franchise on a travel day has real costs.
