My daughter spotted it first. For this part of central New York, Shaughnessy's Irish Pub holds its own.

Their whiskey program was deeper than I expected, with a few allocations that don't usually show up outside of the cities.

The atmosphere held its own energy without trying to manufacture it.

I have recommended it to four people since. That is the most direct metric I use.
