I had passed this place a dozen times before I finally stopped. For this part of central New York, Roscoe Diner holds its own.
The menu was a half-page, which I read as a sign of confidence rather than limitation.
The pacing was intentional. Appetizer cleared before the mains arrived. A small thing that most places get wrong.
The kind of place that reset my expectations for the category in this region.
