Often bring the family here as Cortland suffers from a drought in good restaurants. Usually would avoid a chain like this, never had a terrible meal, servings are a good size and the service , especially with my rambunctious kids is always good. I think this place is well managed.
First impression was the smell of the place coming through the front door. For this part of central New York, Perkins American Food Co. holds its own.
The place occupied its geography without apology. That's the quality I look for.
My family had a different set of reactions than I did, all of them positive. That's the range a good place accommodates.
I have recommended it to four people since. That is the most direct metric I use.
