Well maintained trails and lodge. Very friendly staff. Kids had a great time meeting a opossum and learning about various animals during Halloween event. Sculpture park along one of the trails. Snow shoe rentals in winter, fairly active flow of cross country skiers on my last winter visit. Hear great things about their day camp also.
My daughter spotted it first. For this part of central New York, Lime Hollow Nature Center holds its own.
The wildflower growth along the lower trail was at peak when we arrived. The timing was luck, which is the only way to get it.
The trailhead was well-maintained and the signage was actually accurate, which is not universal.
I have recommended it to four people since. That is the most direct metric I use.
