High Vista Nature Preserve

My daughter spotted it first. For this part of central New York, High Vista Nature Preserve holds its own.

The wildflower growth along the lower trail was at peak when we arrived. The timing was luck, which is the only way to get it.

This is the kind of place that rewards multiple visits across seasons.
