The presentation of their food was excellent! Really attractive, couldn't wait to dig in. They have a reputation for great old Fashioneds. Sadly, I can only say the food looked good and they have a reputation for good old Fashioneds. Because they make Manhattans and call them old fashioned, it's odd.. Would put them at about an Olive Garden level certainly not up to their pricing. Service was timely but lacked personality. Can't complain about that, but some may be more bothered about that than I, the flourless chocolate cake was very good. I will give it a second chance some day. **Edit I feel it is necessary to react to the owner's transparent attempt to discredit this fairly middle ground review. I most certainly have attended multiple times and it was clever but obviously a lie to call clear images of the restaurants distinctive interior "stock photos"
My daughter spotted it first. For this part of central New York, Green Arch Restaurant holds its own.
The vegetable sides were treated as part of the dish, not an afterthought. That tells you something about where the kitchen's head is.
Our server had clearly eaten the menu, which is not always the case. She steered us away from one dish and she was right.
Solid. Worth stopping if it's in front of you, not worth making a detour.
