Was in a rush for a business meeting and couldn't make it into the commons in time. Went in with low expectations but the food, a simple sandwich was served super quick and was tasty. Affordable, quick service. Wish they took better advantage of the great view they could offer.
The signage was understated to the point of being easy to miss. For this part of central New York, Glenwood Pines holds its own.
The wildflower growth along the lower trail was at peak when we arrived. The timing was luck, which is the only way to get it.
A photographer would want to come back in November when the leaves are off and the structure of the landscape shows.
The limitation was real but not the point of the experience. The point delivered.
