It was between lunch and dinner service, which I prefer. The place understood its own identity.
They were running a tight menu, fifteen items or so, and it was clear everything on it was there deliberately.
The dining room volume was controlled. Conversations at our table didn't require leaning in.
I'd return and expect the same experience, which is most of what you can ask.
