I logged this in January 2023 on the same day as the Embassy Suites in East Syracuse, which means this was a Homer stop on a workday without a formal sit-down. No rating at the time but the presence on the list is the acknowledgment. Homer's North Main has the Exchange Restaurant across the way and Nicky C's a few blocks south, which gives the village's main drag a functional food and drink circuit that doesn't require leaving.
For anyone in the Homer-Cortland area who wants a pub rather than a restaurant, Dasher's is the local option. The bar earns its spot in the village the same way local bars always earn their spot: by being there, being reliable, and knowing who walks in the door.
