Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. This is actually a fun stop for our family, dog friendly and we can all stop by to see the rabbits, various small furry pets, impressive collection of lizards and a sizable fish room. Noticed on my last visit that they added a section for homebrewing.
The signage was understated to the point of being easy to miss. For this part of central New York, CountryMax Cortland holds its own.
The place occupied its geography without apology. That's the quality I look for.
Two hours was the right investment for what it returned.
The kind of place that reset my expectations for the category in this region.
