Cedar Breaks Park is part of the New Braunfels river corridor system on the Guadalupe, downstream from the main tubing traffic, and it provides a quieter version of river access than the busier launch points in the city. The Guadalupe in April is running clear and cold, which gives you a quality of water visibility that the summer recreational volume doesn't allow.
I came through as part of the Texas circuit, noted the park and the river access, and logged it as a check-in rather than a rated visit. The parks system New Braunfels maintains along the Guadalupe is one of the city's genuine public assets. Cedar Breaks is part of that system and earns its place in it.
