Anchor Bar

My daughter spotted it first. For this part of central New York, Anchor Bar holds its own.

I ordered an Old Fashioned and watched how they built it. Proper ice, rye, one sugar, expressed peel. Correct.

There was live music earlier in the evening, though we missed it. The residue of it was still in the room.

One thing I'd change: the parking situation is genuinely difficult on weekends. But that changes nothing about recommending the place.
