I remember watching an HBO special ( I think) in the late 90's that showcased some amazing up and coming artists. I can still remember the "Get Along 76ers" chorus, was stuck in my head. And every time Philadelphia has been mentioned since. I had never heard music that sounded anything like it at the time and was lucky to catch that early influence pre-internet.
Got to see them live just a few years later in Buffalo and many times since.
But being just 10ft away this past weekend was a sublime experience and they brought Jakob Nowell with them!
